"Surprisingly practical career advice"
I wasn’t totally convinced at first, but I’ve been using Manager Tools for career advice for a while now and, yeah, it’s actually been useful. The tips are straightforward and easy to test out, especially around giving feedback, running meetings, and handling interviews. I still don’t love taking career advice from a podcast/tool, but I have to admit it’s helped me feel a lot less clueless at work. If you’re looking for something practical and not overly fluffy, it’s probably worth a try.

"I ended up trying their delegation steps..."
I ended up trying their delegation steps after I got completely swamped at work. I don’t remember the exact wording, but the part about being clear on the outcome, the deadline, and when to check in really stuck with me. It sounds kind of obvious, but it actually changed how I’ve been handing things off. My team seems less in the dark now, and I’m not constantly following up on every little thing. Nothing flashy, just practical stuff I could use right away.

"I found the tips clear..."
I found the tips clear and useful, but I’d only post or share them if they actually match your own experience, if that makes sense. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward advice.

"I don’t know, the hosts just..."
I don’t know, the hosts just didn’t really come across as credible to me. Maybe it’s just me being picky, but I had a hard time fully trusting what they were saying.

"Actually useful, which was a nice surprise"
I went to a Manager Tools conference thinking, okay, maybe I’ll pick up one or two decent tips if I’m lucky. But it ended up being way more useful than I expected. The sessions were clear, practical, and thankfully not full of the usual vague conference fluff. I kept catching myself thinking, wait, I can actually use this at work. Met some genuinely nice people too, which was a bonus. I’ve already tried a few of the ideas back at the office, and they’ve helped. I’d definitely go again.

"Support Took Longer Than It Should Have"
The site itself is useful enough, so I’ll give them that, but dealing with support was frustrating. I had a billing question and it felt like every time I got a response, the goalposts moved a little, first I needed to wait, then provide more info, then wait again. They did eventually reply and fix the issue, but it took way more days than I expected for something that seemed straightforward. Not a total disaster, but definitely not great either.

"Good ideas, but the frameworks need more clarity"
There are definitely some solid ideas here, but the frameworks were kind of confusing to follow. I kept feeling like I needed a clearer explanation or example to connect the dots. Like, make it make sense, you know?

"I found it helpful overall and there..."
I found it helpful overall and there were some good tips in there. Sometimes though, it felt a bit too basic, like I was expecting it to go a little deeper or be more useful than... I don't know, just more. Still decent, just not always enough for what I needed.

"Actually worth paying for"
I kept putting off getting Premium because I always tell myself I’m trying to save money and don’t need extra stuff, but it’s been useful. I use it more than I expected, so for me it feels worth the money.

"Surprisingly practical and deeper than most"
I was expecting something a bit more surface-level, like a lot of similar stuff out there, but this went deeper in a really useful way. It didn’t feel overly polished, fancy, or like it was trying to sell me the whole time, just solid content that actually gave me something to think about.

"Surprisingly useful manager advice"
I’ve been using manager-tools.com for a while now, i keep wondering if I’m overselling it, but it’s one of the few places where I’ll hear advice and actually use it the same day. The stuff on one-on-ones and giving feedback has helped me a lot. It’s simple and clear, without all the usual corporate buzzwords. Maybe it just clicked for me at the right time, but I’ve found it really solid.

"Super easy to sign up and cancel"
I signed up for manager-tools.com for a few months and it was really straightforward. The subscription kicked in right away, no weird hoops or surprise stuff, which I always appreciate. When I needed to cancel, I was kind of expecting a hassle, but then, actually, it was done in like no time. I also got a clear confirmation email after, so I wasn’t left wondering if it went through. I might come back later when I’ve got more time to use it. Overall, good experience.

"Actually made managing easier"
I took this training last month, and it’s been really useful. My 1-on-1s feel a lot smoother now, and I’ve been able to put the tips into practice right away. Nothing overly complicated, just simple advice that actually works.

"Made managing feel way less overwhelming"
I started using Manager Tools when I felt lost leading my team. The advice is straightforward and easy to actually use at work, which is rare. My 1-on-1s have gotten so much better, and I’m way more confident going into tougher conversations now. I blame whoever runs this for making management feel a lot less intimidating. Really useful, no-fluff stuff.

"Helpful for one-on-ones, though a little rigid"
I checked out manager-tools.com when I was trying to get better about doing one-on-ones with my team. The basic format was actually helpful, and it gave me something consistent to work from. That said, some of the advice felt a bit too strict for me, almost like there’s only one correct way to run these meetings. I still think it’s a solid starting point, but I don’t follow it exactly every time. In the end, it just felt...

"Feedback finally started making sense"
I’ll admit, giving feedback used to feel super awkward for me, but the tips here actually made it way easier to understand. Coaching feels a lot more natural now. whoever runs this should’ve made it this clear from the start.

"Useful templates, but a bit outdated"
I downloaded a few of the tools and templates, and some of them were genuinely helpful. That said, a few layouts feel dated and weren’t always easy to customize. For the price and overall usefulness, I’d say it’s decent, but not amazing.

"Actually useful for work, right?"
I’ve found their advice surprisingly practical for real office situations, not just the usual theory stuff. I’ve been using some of it with my team, and it actually makes sense in day-to-day work, you know?

"I’m usually checking manager-tools.com in those random..."
I’m usually checking manager-tools.com in those random little gaps in the day, like sitting on the train, waiting for a meeting to start, or grabbing coffee while half-looking at my phone. I don’t really use it in any serious desktop setup or anything, so I mostly care whether it’s annoying on mobile, and thankfully it isn’t.
The pages load fast enough, and after poking around a bit I can usually get to the podcasts and notes without having to think too hard about it. It’s not the slickest or flashiest site, but that doesn’t bother me much. The important thing is that it works when I need it, so I’m giving it 5 stars
